That's a difficult angle to draw a face from, but you've nailed it.

I'm going to have to say it... I wish they would use the chrome logo on the regular Prog again... along with all the other stuff like the "Earth money" and "in orbit every Wednesday" etc.

Whilst I thoroughly agree that the old chrome logo is arsom, I wouldn't really want it to make a comeback.
What's a brilliant bit of nostalgic design for us, would probably be considered a bit naff by the youthsters.

The Judge Dredd logo on the other hand... reinstate it now please Tharg! It still works better than any other Dredd logo we've had, in my rose-tinted fanboy opinion!

What a wonderful prog!

As many have said, I'd be very happy indeed for some of these strips to continue (albeit in their own little bubble universe, outside of the main continuities).

Only one that didn't really click for me was Hellman of Hell Force, but the idea is still solid. I'd still happily take more!

Extra oil rations for whichever droid came up with this idea, and hats off to all the droids involved in creating this one. You all played a blinder!

For what it's worth I think having a 20 page strip in each issue is a canny editorial idea, given that Regened only gets 4 or 5 issues a year.

Lowborn High isn't the way to go though.

IIRC there is at least a page or two (or more) that Simon Bisley painted S/S - same size as the published comic - to save time. Think they're in Book 3 when he was up against it on deadline. The page(s) feature Ukko pausing in between writing his account, and are evident because the lettering suddenly gets bigger. Nobody told the poor letterer (Steve Potter?) to shrink his balloons or the next within them...

Wonder how they'll deal with that in the mighty tome?

I know the exact page, and always wondered why that happened with the letter size!
I'm guessing the mighty tome will just go with it.

How long has it been since Jesus Redondo was in the Prog/Meg?

Barney reckons Prog 13 for his first appearance, and Prog 1961 as his last.
But I can't help thinking he's come back more recently than that?

Dave Gibbons is still going, though he hasn't drawn for the prog since 2002, according to Barney (unless there's something I've forgotten since Barney stopped being updated).

So's Mick McMahon, and he's done the occasional cover more recently than that, but I think we're talking about artists still actively contributing to The Mighty One's thrilling organs... FNARR.

He wasn't in prog 1, but point taken.

I'd heard rumours about this, turns out the original negatives in the Thrill Containment Units were of a better quality than previously thought (or so I've heard).

Cant wait to see the print quality.
