Quote from: nxylas on 21 August, 2023, 02:58:32 PMDave Gibbons is still going, though he hasn't drawn for the prog since 2002, according to Barney (unless there's something I've forgotten since Barney stopped being updated).

So's Mick McMahon, and he's done the occasional cover more recently than that, but I think we're talking about artists still actively contributing to The Mighty One's thrilling organs... FNARR.
He wasn't in prog 1, but point taken.

Didn't McMahon do the art for the 'Next Week Meet...' advert for Dredd in Prog one?
Has to count if he did...

Count me in for this one!
I'd heard rumours about this, turns out the original negatives in the Thrill Containment Units were of a better quality than previously thought (or so I've heard).

Cant wait to see the print quality.

That's fantastic Hoagy!
Really bold colours. Would look great as a print.

I've scored it a 5, is that the same as a vote?

*Edit: Ignore me. I've sorted it.

Quote from: nxylas on 02 August, 2023, 02:49:30 PMPortals and Black Goo certainly sounds like a pun, but i'm as mystified as everyone else as to what it's a pun on. Is it one of those things like "Ro-Jaws and Hammerstein" that will have everyone kicking themselves when they finally get it?

All I can think is it's a play on 'blood and black lace'.
Can't really see that being correct though.

As for Azimuth - I liked it to begin with, but I've found myself way more invested now it's turned into Sinister Dexter. Suzy needs to make a comeback though, she's great!

There's nothing irrational about being scared of sharks.

Spiders though.... just the thought of them puts me in panic mode, and I have to go around checking there's not one in the room with me. I *definitely* cannot visit Australia. Ever.

Judging by how they've managed to print white onto bog-roll stock, I'd say it's a more modern reproduction. Just guessing though.

I do believe that ol' Green Bonce looks his best when he looks a bit unhinged.

Sketched this a few months ago. Thought I should ink it and colour it with my posh felt tips.
It is Our Lord in Betelgeuse Tharg after all!

Quote from: JayzusB.Christ on 02 May, 2023, 10:09:32 PMTo be fair, most of us didn't know till far too late that Savile was a wrong 'un.

Most of us had absolutely no idea, totally agree.
But the BBC knew.
John Lydon knew.
Yewtree was set up for a reason, I reckon the police definitely knew.

The question is - did Charles know?

The Reggae-Funk of Halo Jones - The middle books before we move onto her Ambient phase
Enamoured Gideon - Our favourite annihilator meets a lady-bot! (She hates him though)
Bottom Man - Probably best I don't describe that one...

Winner!

It's definitely better than my other idea, Fiends of the Walmington-on-Sea Front, which was just Dad's Army with vampires.*

*on reflection, I'd read the sh*t out of that!
