Borag Thungg, Earthlets!

With a few minutes to spare before my next patrol of the work cubicles, ensuring my droids are pumping out one hundred per cent Thrill-power, I just wanted to congratulate the Rebellion videogame 'bots on Aliens Vs Predator being top of the charts this week. It truly is a zarjaz experience, and one I wholly recommend you get your humanoid paws on.

To see what's being said about the top-selling game of 2010 so far, head over to: www.rebellion.co.uk

Mini-bolt has played the demo- and was VERY excited afterwards.

Congrats to all involved, now let's have a new 2000ad based game, eh?

Woolly

Have just seen the demo running on a top-end PC, and it's bloody stunning!
No idea why the graphics are getting a bashing in the reviews, i thought they were spot-on. Well done Rebellion  :)
(I particularly like the Aliens, and the marine's faces are a work of art  ;))

Buying it as soon as i've saved the cash!

Yes, a 2000AD game would be wonderful.

Preferably not a FPS, though.

A survival horror, perhaps?

Or action adventure (we don't get nearly enough action adventures, these days)?

I'm no analyst, but I kinda think that a big budget game based on a 2000ad property would be too risky on the current generation of consoles.

So how about a cheaper, downloadable title on XBLA and PSN? Imagine a Dredd-themed take on Shadow Complex, an episodic, third person, cell-shaded Nikolai Dante action adventure game, a Metal Gear-inspired ABC Warriors platform/shoot 'em up?

I'm anticipating a Dredd movie tie-in game at the very least.

Alas, sad but quite likely true.

Ah, now you're talking!

There was downloadable Battle Star Galactica shooter some time back, as I recall...

A third off on Steam this weekend, making it £16.74.

Anyone remember Nemesis the Warlock by Martek on The Spectrum 48K? I used to love the hand squeezing the heart to pulp when you lost a life....

It would be good to get some downloads of old skool 2000AD releases.

YES! I loved it! It was a 2D platform game, wasn't it?

Can't believe you remembered that heart-squeeze thing...

Yes it was HOO-HAA.

I managed to find a screen shot here:

Note: the hand ready to squeeze the heart along the bottom panel. Superb...

I think there should be an emulator on this site that allows us to play all those 80's/90's computer games online.
