I have similar experience. The nickname "Pops" stuck so thoroughly when I was younger, there are people in my home town that don't know my real name. Even now, my colleagues don't use my full name. I'm known as Big Dan. I'm not strikingly large or anything, just bigger than Wee Dan.

The youtube algorithm keeps recommending me pig racing videos

I'm OK with this, it feels weirdly vindicating. It's a comfort going into a USA election cycle.

Heavy handed...Really?

That was an awful, awful, truly terrible attempt at a joke about the topological homeomorphism between donuts and coffee mugs/tea cups.

That's clearly a Christmas prog cover from back in the day. We've obviously just all forgotten all about it, and Le Fink is a dirty lazy cheat!

You could amuse yourself by forcing them to continue the mail chain. Just throw their own empty corporate language back in their faces. Just waste their time and energy. Feck ye could get chatgpt to compose the emails for you. It won't achieve anything but you might find it satisfying

And death rained down upon them!

 :D

Well, I don't have a major challenge with that!
(Sorry, just trying to make my vocabulary deflect pro... I mean, challenges.)

I don't like that sort of language policing. The mathemetician in me relishes a good problem, and a challenge sounds like some mo'erfucker wants too throw hands. CTRL-A Find+Replace isn't a mental health strategy.

I was not aware of the particulars of this particular development, but I am not particularly surprised.

So today was my first day on the office since youtube changed its policies, and it was through the cyclopean monitor of my workplace machine I glimpsed the  mundane dystopiary of latestage capitalism. But...

My personal computer set up can still keep the mange ridden inbred degenerate runt of capitalist marketing at bay.

...feckin "e" key still doesn't work though...

Well, youtube has banned adblockers and  I had never realized how aggressively user unfriendly that shite heap of a website is. The enshitification of the internet continues apace.

I didn't know there was a second season, I don't know why there's a second season, and the fact I haven't heard about a second season means I probably won't watch a second season.
