Now up on 2000adreview.co.uk.  Short but (hopefully) fun.

Yup- that was fun!

And entertaining and interesting interview.

Some utter gems from this great interview:

"Ennis got me to draw a gobbing contest for godâ??s sake."

I knew Garth wasn't all bad!

"I had to pencil four Batman books in two weeks."

and...

"Iâ??ve just remembered, I pencilled an X Factor in about 4 days."

Madre de dios! That works out at between 5 and 8 pages of pencils a day.  Art-droid indeed!

And on filling on Robohunter:

"And if Ian is coming back, well itâ??s his strip not mine. "

Just the one clanger:  "Why are there no decent Welsh superheroes? ".  Your mouth is full of wrong, Mackay!  2000AD's greatest ever superhero character was Welsh!

Dudley

Great character, sure.  Actually any good as a superhero?  I think not.

The question stands!

We may have seen him after he became a fat, alcoholic loser, but Siadwel was hot stuff in his young days!

Mackay, you're a damned fool, a cad and a bounder.

A great interview, by the way!

But I have two minor issues with it:

William is... the man who did as much as any artist to define the look of the Simps, futsies and other assorted lunatics that people the pedways of Judge Dreddâ??s world.

I don't agree. I think he was a few years late to do any defining.

So when Liam Sharp stopped working on PJ Maybe stories to work on something else, somewhere else, Richard said â??Screw Sharpâ? and gave me the gig.

That's interesting, because Liam Sharp told me he was surprised when someone else was asked to draw PJ Maybe. He said he wasn't asked, and would have been happy to keep doing it.

I don't want to start a row, though! This was just a quick chat at a convention (while I got a PJ sketch!).
Liam's a really nice bloke, and he didn't seem offended, anyway.
