Thanks everyone, the reason I was following the major stories is that is allowed to catch up the big beats of what's happened. As a lapsed reader this helps.

This lists is great and is doing the job. I've been googling to ding the progs and megs so don't do a load of extra work for me.

I agree the one offs can be the real gold. Once I'm up to date I'm dip back in. When you enter 2000ad after a break there's such a huge amount to process, you need a system.

I've been using the Brimful of thrills on the 45 too as a guide. I created an ebook with photos for myself.

Hi all,

I'm a lapsed reader (two letters published), returned to the fold.

I'm catching up on a lot,of progs, and was looking for a reading order that has prog and Meg numbers for all continuity/mega epic Judge Dredd stories.

I've been following this excellent post, is this still up to date? Or is there something else you'd recommend?

Hi guys, estimates for shipping if anyone wants this detail.

Hi Jordan,

thanks for the question. i am happy to organize a courier for your shipment. The weight of each megazines is ~265g with free graphic novel or ~190g without.

Yodel estimates that a shipment of 75 megazines would be ~20kg, which would be approximately £10.99.

The maximum weight per shipment is 25kg, so for every ~90 megazines you'll need a new shipment. So approx £11 per 90 megs. Happy bidding!

Hope these estimates help!

Kind regards
Pete

Selling some prog sets and complete megazine volumes on eBay for 99p per set. A bargain!

All in good nick with free gifts, the works.

Listing are below (will add hyperlinks once they go live tomorrow)

I'm moving house on the 26th so need these gone. To be honest with you, if someone wants to come pick up the lot for a bargain price for a few hundred quid I'd be happy with that (i'm based in reading). I'd throw in lots of goodness. And also life karma.

Don't worry i'm still a fan, I've just gone digital to save space. Well, apart from the megacollection, but that's okay because its books, isn't it my dear sweet other half? yes. yes they are.

I'm not selling individual issues apart from the specials (not prog 2000 though as this is part of a set), so don't ask. Me openly weeping as a response isn't pretty.

Please buy these, and love them, as I have. My little papery babies. *sob*

Hi John,

There are still for sale, received a few offers, but way too low in price. Would very much  like to sell to a fan who will read and enjoy them. What price were you thinking?

Kind Regards
Pete

Hi Guys,

Re-posting. I had a few offers but nothing concrete imreally need to shift these ASAP, so would appreciate your help. So will take £700 for the lot or nearest offer. That's 1600 good condition comics up for grabs, 40p an issue. :-(

Grab yourself a once in a life time bargain as due to moving to a smaller flat, I need to sell off my large Prog and Megazine collection at a bargain price.

They are all in a great condition, most with free gifts, older ones all bagged. I'm ideally looking for someone to come and pick up the whole ruddy lot. Make me an offer, I'm not looking for a massive amount, just enough so I can start my digital collection. First come first served. I'm posting on the 2000ad boards as I want to sell to a fan. Breaks my heart to sell these of at a cheap price, but I have no choice but to do it as I need to shift them quickly.

The collection includes *deep breath*

~1000 Progs including all year progs
1855 to 1050 (805 progs)
899 to 800 ( 99 progs) Bagged
749 to 695 (54 progs) bagged

~500 issues of Megazine inc all additional free graphic novels
327 to 201 - all issues from 275 upwards inc. free graphic novel, bagged, 320,322, 295,296 not inc.
Complete vol. 4 #1 -#18
Complete vol. 3 #1 - #79
Complete Vol. 2 #1 - #83
Complete vol. 1 #1 - #20
50 odd duplicate issues
And a couple of specials.

A great complete collection of megs and progs, in a great condition. Snaffle the lot and grab yourself a real bargain. As I said I'm not looking for a massive amount of cash just make me a reasonable offer. I won't break up the lot into individual issues but I will split the progs and Megs into two separate lots.

Look forward to hearing from you - Pete

Hi All,

I am selling my complete Judge Dredd Megazine collection. Vols 1 to the current Vol. 5.

This is ~325 issues!!! The majority of the issues are in good condition and all modern megazines come complete with the free graphic novels.

This is a once a lifetime opportunity to get the complete set of Judge Dredd Megazines. As mentioned before they are in a good condition, and I am happy to answer specific questions on each megazine or volume.

I am looking for £2.50 each per Megazine for Vol. 5 (for the issues which include the free graphic novel) , and the bargain price of £1.50 per Megazine for all others.

I really look forward to hearing from you, i will sell these on a first come first served basis. I cannot deliver due to the size of the collection, though i will make myself available for pick up at a time convenient for yourselves.

This includes:

Vol 1. #1-20 - £1.50 each
Vol. 2 #1- 83 - £1.50 each
Vol. 3 #1- 79 (excluding # 78) - £1.50 each
Vol. 4 #1 -18 - £1.50 each
Vol. 5 #201 - #274 (excluding #252,#295, #296) £1.50 each
Vol. 5 #275 - #328 (excluding #295, #296) £2.50 each

About me. I am lover and collector of 2000ad, selling these issues due to the usual space and other half issues. I would love to see this goes as a single collection to home where they will be loved and cared for.

I got a couple of tidbits from the lovely Al Ewing today via that Twitter. As follows:

ME - " hey, loving the dredd post DoC, great stories. how this will all tie in DoC, do you plan to expand/enlarge the DoC developments?

Al Ewing - "Yes - now these one-offs are over, things will be getting a lot more DoC-related.

ME - "sweet! Please can we see destruction, devastation, desperation, mutant rights ascendent and mahoosive burial pits. Thankyou please'

Al Ewing - " Most of those are covered in what I'm working on at the minute.

Me - "big love for you, i dig long running ramifications.

Dredd: Is anyone else confused over Dredd? The massive build up and decimation of DoC seems to have been completely ignored apart from a couple of lines in the last two progs. It feels really jarring. I'm reading some old late 90's progs at the moment, and the continuity of Dredd really stands out, it reads like a developing and growing narrative with actual repercussions for events, and characters recurring and developing. DoC was so big i thought it would at the very least change the status quo, instead it appears to have done little? I'm hoping i'm wrong, but at the moment the impact of DoC is nothing. And if there are no affects obvious what was the point of the story at all? I hope i'm being pessimistic and I am optimistic that the Ewing droid will see us right.

Dante: Totally agree with the previous comments a great and fitting ending. I honestly couldn't have predicted how is was going to end, but i'm glad it ended in the way it did.
Lots of questions but not in the irritating manner. I'm going to construct my own ending where Dante goes to the church, gets married and rebuilds the empire into a utopia. Whilst being aware he probably legs it and is balls deep in trouble and ladies of dubious charms in about three panels. Man he will be missed.
Where do we start a campaign for a complete massive marvel-style omnibus edition. Thanks Morrison and Fraser for a great ride over the last few years. Now mr Fraser get cracking with Lila Mckenzie!
