I think you could squeeze just about squeeze Revere, Cradlegrave, Slaughterbowl and A Love Like Blood into one volume but I'd prefer two books with room for things like Danzig's Inferno and The Strange Case of the Wyndham Demon as well.

I'm very excited to see Perfect Day collected at last!

Yep, I was having a pop at Hachette's spelling - no one else's - and wouldn't even have done that if an obscure 70s puppet series tangent hadn't popped into my mind.

which is weird when you consider we've swapped out Feral and Foe for Skipperty...

Even weirder given that Tharg promised us Aquila.

Inigo Prime?

Presumably this is why Hartley Hare turned up in Leatherjack?

Rico is an understandable inclusion, because it's historically important. Helter Skelter is the baffling one.

I'm also intrigued about the radical departure he promises for the strip post-'The Path of Kali'.

My best guess: Jaegir moves to Nu Torquay and opens a hotel, with hilarious consequences.

I'm not sure what to think of Jaegirs attitude shift, she wasn't sympathetic to the Southers before but didn't seem to have the fanaticism that was endemic in old Rogue Trooper.

She did spend the entire most recent story being tortured by them.

In the original progs I had thought this would be leading up to a series conclusion but from Rennie's comments in the afterword there's a lot more to come.

Thought that was the strongest prog so far this year, which I wasn't expecting.

A population so docile and infantilised that they will happily overlook their leaders being responsible for mass deaths and still vote them in, despite knowing full well what they did and will do?

Tbf there were plenty of examples of that in the real world even before Judge Dredd first appeared.

There was a more detailed explanation of what strips got continued and why in the Meg lettercol back in the day, but I don't have a copy to hand to check.

Found it. It's in Meg volume 2 no 58. Fair play, they include a list of all the votes and percentages alongside the explanation of what was getting a series and what wasn't. Culling Crew (which didn't get one) scored almost 10 times as many votes as Karyn (which did).

We need to introduce this system for the Eurovision Song Contest.

I'm not sure why I put a spoiler space in there, sorry.
