Hello all.  Having had to hire a storage unit for the sheer mass of books I'm carting around while I stayed in NHS digs in Aberdeen, I realised I need to thin out my collection rather drastically.  So, free to a good home, a full run of Y-The Last Man TPBs in good nick- you pay the P&P.

Given this forum has relatively low traffic I'd prefer not to make this first come first served- as such, register your interest below and after a week I'll pick somebody at random.

So I've turned up yet more stuff that I want shot of before I move far north of The Wall.  As usual, you Paypal me the postage for whatever you want, otherwise it's free. Bear in mind that postage costs can be a bitch.  Up for grabs we have:

Dredd: Democracy Now

Anderson: Triad

Young Death: Boyhood of a Superfiend

Rogue Trooper: Future War (first 24 progs' worth of story)

Rogue Trooper: To the Ends of Nu-Earth (something of a Finley-Day silly names special, with Colonel Kovert and the sad demise of Major Magnam.  Also, re-gened Gunnar keeps his telekinesis as a biochip, what the fuck?)

Rogue Trooper: Re-Gene (containing the rollockingly good fun Horst storyline, which combines possibly the daftest combination of MacGuffin and denouement ever).

Charley's War Vol III (one of the nice hardcover collections)

Gotham Central: In the Line of Duty

Gotham Central: In the Line of Duty

Gotham Central: Jokers and Madmen

Sláine: The Horned God Part 2 (one of the nice big format Titan GNs)

Punisher: Business as Usual (one of Garth Ennis' run)

Black Widow: Homecoming

Right so you know the deal.  Tell me what you want and you Paypal me the postage costs, otherwise they're all free to whoever wants em.  On offer we have:

Dredd yearbooks '92 and '93
2000AD yearbooks '93 and '94

Dredd: Necropolis Book 2 (old large format Titan version)

Dredd's Crime Files vol 3 (Old Fleetway reprint of miscellaneous earlyish Dredd, e.g. "Behold the Beast!", nice full colour Ezquerra art

Dredd's Hardcase Papers vol 3 (again an old Fleetway reprint GN, fulll colour, with a rarish titleless Rogue Trooper story in there for some reason)

Hitman: Who Dares Wins.  Got this story in the newer reprints.  If you've not read any Hitman this is a good enough place to start.

Hellblazer: Empathy is the Enemy by Denise Mina: perhaps you'll get on better with Mina's run on Hellblazer than I did

Batman: Knightsend

World without a Superman

Ultimates Volume 1: please somebody take this trendy celebrity name-dropping shite off my hands.

Help! / Identify this signature
08 April, 2014, 07:30:37 PM
So when I was eleven my local library did some fantastic evenings about comics.  My mum recently dug out a load of my stuff and found some mementos from one of them, where the guests were Dan Abnett, John Mcrea (who did me this kick ass sketch of Hitman):

...and whoever this signature belongs to, whom for the life of me I can't remember

It's really bugging me that I can't figure out who it belongs to- a bit of a long shot but does anybody have any ideas?

Hi all, as with the tooth annuals, some more stuff I want to get shot of.  Up for grabs are a set of the big, hardcover Star Wars books- very nicely illustrated and any kids in your life I'm sure would love them.  As they're so heavy it's probably best if you collected them from me in Birmingham, though do PM me as well if you don't mind paying for postage (which will also delay things until I can get round to lugging them to the post office).  I have:

Visual Dictionaries: Original trilogy Episodes I, II and III
Incredible Cross Sections: Original trilogy and episodes I, II and III
Inside the Worlds: Episodes I and II

Of particular note (to a physics geek like me) is the Episode II Incredible Cross Sections, written by an astrophysicist and giving weapon power outputs and ship accelerations in scientific units.  If you ever wanted to know the kilotonnage of a Delta-7 Aethersprite's laser cannons, now's your chance (!).

Hi all, I've got to clear some space and they don't seem to go for all that much on ebay.  As such I've got a selection of 2000AD/Dredd annuals/yearbooks that I'll send to whoever wants them for the cost of postage.  They're all in pretty good nick.  On offer are:

2000AD annuals: '78,'79,'80, '85, '86, '88, '90, '91, yearbook '92, yearbook '94
Judge Dress annuals: '87, '89, '90, '91, yearbook '93, yearbook '94

PM me if you want any of them and we'll sort it out.
