My latest page from Royd arrived today and I can definitely echo what Greg said; Royd's a gent through and through and his packaging is second-to-none.  The art business has its share of shady types but Royd is most certainly not among them, so if you're on the fence about picking up some artwork while it's available, go for it.  Drop Royd a line and see if you can work something out.

My Colin Wilson pages arrived safely from Royd today (from Oz to Scotland in a week!) - scans'll be up on the Original Art Thread in due course, but I just wanted to confirm the earlier glowing recommendations of dealing with Royd. He is an absolute gentleman and bloomin' lovely to deal with, and he sure knows how to package artwork. Well worth getting yourself a page from Royd while they last! I know I'm tempted to go back for another already...

Thanks Simeon!  As a matter of interest, I'm waiting for Colin to get back to me about the 6 page Rogue Trooper story he illustrated which was written by Andy Diggle.

Colin is looking at offering the complete story up for sale although he has promised a friend first refusal. If the friend passes on the story, I'll advertise it here for sale   Warm regards,

Pleased for both you and Colin, Royd. There are some lovely pages there - and the ones sold already must have been awesome if these are the ones that are left. Sadly my pipeline is full to bursting, so I'm having to pass, but please post on here again when other stuff comes up for sale...

Please don't think I was suggesting that the prices are unreasonable. Quite the reverse!

As most here know, Colin Wilson followed Dave Gibbons on the Rogue Trooper stories in 2000AD and created many memorable stories featuring the Genetic Infantryman.  I have recently gone through my listing of available Rogue Trooper pages and removed the sold pages to better display the remaining pages available for sale.

Classifieds / Colin Wilson Tharg’s Future Shocks (1982) and Losers Art For Sale!

Colin recently unearthed a page from one of his earliest works for 2000AD in the shape of the title page for Tharg’s Future Shocks story “Last of the First Ones” which saw publication in the 2000AD 1982 Annual.

The page is 38cm x 56cm and, apart from minor creases outside the image area, is in very good condition.  The page is a wonderful example of Colin’s early 2000AD work and is beautifully inked.  You can see the page here - http://tinyurl.com/y94lwx6

Hey Peter, Ash has previously illustrated Judge Dredd (about 10 years ago) and has worked on Spawn, Metal Gear Solid, Ghost Rider 2099, X-Men, Tank Girl, Hellspawn and many of his own art books and titles for IDW.

He's also the CEO of threeaonline - http://www.threeaonline.com/ the company which recently gained the licence to create 2000AD action figures.

One of Ash's books was also recently optioned as a movie by Jerry Bruckheimer.  I'm the lucky owner of some of Ash's early work which can be seen here -

For Colin Wilson and/or Judge Dredd fans, I have just uploaded scans of 28 pages from the “Relentless” story which was published in 3 parts in Progs No. 1237-1239.  This story features our favourite Judge wandering the Cursed Earth and Colin created many fabulous images for the story.
