That is always a difficult thing to address to catch-up with the continuity of a story Barrington. The nerve centre try to address this by giving us some background on what happened before. In the older days the first few panels where almost a semi-catch-up type of thing

All depends on when you start reading any of these stories especially starting from the middle of a series will make it difficult to catch-up. Something like Vex we had a lot of world-building and background that builds up from previous chapters. Slaine has been ongoing for decades but this story you really do not have to have all the prior acknowledge to follow. The easiest story to pick-up certainly is Durham Red.

Regened next week.  Well, let's see what is served up this time. To be fair the balance has been more on the positive side so I'm cautiously optimistic.  Another brand new tale to boot? Well, here's hoping.

Their is 3 new tales in the regen prog:
Action Pact: The Radyar Recovery by Mike Carroll (w) Luke Horsman (a) Matt Soffe (c) Simon Bowland (l)
Viva Forever by David Ballie (w) Anna Morozova (a) Pippa Bowland (c) Jim Campbell (l)
Mayflies: Precious Cargo by Mike Carroll (w) Simon Coleby (a) Dylan Teague (c) Simon Bowland (l)

Other Reviews / Re: Dredd Case Files 36

I have completed the case files and here is my highlights:

Incubus - This is a great cross-over and in many ways divines how good  a cross-over can be when it is done correctly. I helps when the art is by the magnificent Flint. He is my modern Dredd artists. The way the story is told makes it much more believe that the Aliens are part of the Dredd-verse.

Out of the Undercity - A very good story related to the underworld as the werewolves tale gets another jab at it (old faces return as well). The art by Critchlow is just as great as his new style is again displayed here.

Radlander - John Ridgway provides the great visuals for a tale of revenge and true justice. Justice is delivered but not by Dredd this round

Give me Liberty - A good Dredd story by Rennie and Gibson as a block decides it is time  to declare their independence. We all know how this will end.

Overall a good addition to the case files, enjoyed all the stories in it with Incubus the champion leading the pack
