You can have whoever you want!
Re: sexual inuendo
He did have a taste for spry young lads, and lasses. But then it WAS renaissance Italy!
Re:Hard Drinking Yanks
Caravaggio had a massive drink problem as well as gambling debts and even ran one of his mates through with his sword after an argument during a game of tennis! Now why can't we see that at bloody Wimbledon?

Thats a Caravaggio yeah, but he's done better. Judith and Holofernes is cool, and one about Doubting Thomas poking his finger into Jesus's spear wound- if you see a black and white print it looks like a photo! Same goes for some of Velasquez stuff. Also check out Artemesia Gentilischi (that might not be spelled right) ill get some scans posted, but i've a heavy schedule tonight & tomorrow so it'll be thursday/friday. I've just sussed out how to post a picture up.

They all look better in real life. I remember seeing one of Rembrant's self portraits in Edinburgh, it was immense- a directly accross from it was a f@~King huge Velasquez- totally blew me away. I'd love to see Caravaggio's 'David with the head of Goliath'- apparently, Goliath's severed head is a self portrait. I was unimpressed by Raphael- dodgy foreshortening on a couple of his Madonna's. I thought i would like it, but it was crap!

Ha! Ha! Wot? Nae opinions allowed aroond here? Honestly, some folk have got nae sense o' humour! 2000ad readers as well! Nice Rogue cover, by the way- but i still hate the style that Mr Hughes chose to depict the aforementioned strips, seeing as how i helped pay for them i feel it entitles me to comment.
