Suggestions / Put credit box at the end of dredd
26 October, 2010, 05:06:48 PM
Hi. I'd like to see the dredd credit box move back so I don't know if it's a Wagner one before I start. I would then be fairer to the other writers. I know it's prejudiced. And I'm only half serious. Soon as I see it's not Wagner I just think ah 'fill in' which you never would watching a us tv show...

Thanks. Clearly very rare and unlikely to ever be continued. The name ( in 2010 at least) sounds more like a download service. Appreciate the help. Mat

I might have misunderstood but someone wrote that there were omnibus type reprints of early 2000ads. Anyone got anything like this? I don't mean the complete law in order etc.

Can't find anything like this listed anywhere - it's good to have a new challenge!

Cheers fella. I got home and discovered The Sodomizer stand was all for the cameras. (this sounds awful for anyone who wasn't there!)

Brilliant colouring.

The signing tour was pretty heavy. I'd imagine if the book was something like 5.95 when it came out you could probably add a £5 on top if you got a bite from a big fan.

(this sounds like an AA speech)

Finally got a portable device so I'll be more talkative. Saw a lot of you at Bics. Colin MacNeil is a star with his crayons !

"During the convention weekend, Mr Vess will be happy to sign copies of any of his published works, for graphic novels and books that are presented; quick headshot sketches will be available. The artist will not sketch on loose paper or in sketchbooks."

I hadn't come accross Creators having stipulations before except:

Dave Gibbons will automatically draw you a man in a hat in 15 secs
Simon Bisley will ask 'tits or arse' and still manager to draw a spliff on dredd

Hi

I've got them all - It's pretty much from Cardlegrave to the end of Tour of Duty.

I'm on holiday now for 2 weeks but pm me on 28th Aug onwards and I'll figure out a price (if you have bought them buy them)

I was thinking £50 the lot or exchange graphic novels to their rrp (£100 ish)

News / Re: Rebellion Zenith Collection! And....
05 August, 2010, 03:34:28 PM
I'd love to see Zenith released.

Some oddities...

1) If you're about to broker a deal with Grant Morrison don't you rather reveal your hand as referring to it as our 'marvelman'. Wouldn't you speak to him first?

2) Phase 3+4 - don't DC 'own' the IPC characters like Robot Archie since aquiring them for Albion?

So it might be better if DC co-published with Rebellion, DC sorted out Grant so that Rebellion can't be accused by other creators who challenge their ownership?

I hope this is report does anticipate activity but I can't see what's changed. Except a route to US shops.

Books & Comics / Re: Watchmen sequel / prequel ??

This doesn't add up.

Are we to believe DC offered Alan Moore the rights back to Watchmen?

What does that actually mean - well theoretically he could take it to Top Shelf (or another) and publish it?

Whilst asking him to do some Minuteman prequel or Pirate comic which they would want to bring out as monthlies and then republish it with... the original book.

Just doesn't add up unless he had to write all this stuff, they then had the rights to combined editions for the next X years.... snore.

I've met Alan a couple of times and if they even made this offer they should have asked him to do something he might actually consider. Relaunch the Martian Manhunter or something he's previously pitched to them.

I think it's great that one man has more integrity than a whole corporation.
