Starscans are a rubbish way to trial new talent! Just cus someone can draw a purty picture don't mean they can do comics - it's a great way to get unaffordable talent back into 2000AD but that's it!

Yes, if the pic was in 3d you'd see I was far enough behind everyone to make sure no-one knew I was there - plus it makes me look shorter than the 6' 5" I really am. *cough*. And fer the record: I'm drawing 'Nanas and Custard' :) some of which can be seen on my portfolio page.

Yes. It's in my portfolio bag. My apologies to anyone I didn't get doing a sketch for and er... my sincere condolences for those that I did do a sketch for.

RAC I'll be in the house this evening.

Help! / Re: TECH STUFF!!
09 June, 2004, 01:25:09 AM
I'd check for Virus, especially if you know a couple of people having the same problem. Press CTRL+ALT+DEL and view the running tasks (IIRC) and see if there's anything funny in there - there's normally half a dozen programs which you can then search for in google. If you can't find a program using google there's a good chance it's a virus. Also run 'regedit' and navigate to Current user - Software - Microsoft - CurrentVersion - Run, this lists the programs that run on start up, if you see anything odd there's a good chance it's a virus.

Both the Goddard and Teague droids have been fitted with a special perspiration release vent directly over their cranium storage facility. The Holden droid, on the other hand, has a full head of hair and, consequently, is very very sweaty.

As with most vehicles/tech judges in dredds world it looks like whatever it needs to look like for the script (Dredds uniform and bike are *relatively* consistent between artists but even they can change a fair old bit.)

Don't get hung up in details dude :)

Dammit, you're right. If only we all had some sort of compulsory in-built chip.

Ah, if only we all had compulsory ID cards.

Easyjet accept these things: http://www.citizencard.net/ might be worth pursuing, if they have a quick turnaround.
