So in the goldenage we had McMahon, Cam Kennedy, Brian Bolland, Glenn Fabry et al (and we still have the mighty Ezquerra). But who, amongst current and recent artists, do you rate as the best? The superstars? The ones to watch out for?

If, grud willing, they ever make a Strontium Dog movie, who would you like to see cast?

I'm gonna go for Michael Fassbender as Johnny, maybe the incredibly foxy Christina Hendricks (Miss Holloway from Mad Men) as Durham Red. Struggling to think of a suitable Wulf though...

I came across a facebook page for a fan film about judge minty in the cursed earth - I'm sure this is old news on here, but does anyone know what the latest on this project is? we seem to be headed towards an exciting time fan-film wise...

I'm sure this has probably been discussed before, but has anyone seen this yet? The whole feel of it reminded me of a classic 2000AD strip. Loved the retro-WWI trench warfare at the beginning - in fact I'd have happily watched 100 minutes of that to be honest. Yeah, it's flawed (Perlman doing 'oirish' for a start), but it was pretty audacious, and I hear made for under a million dollars... Bet Malkovich got most of that too.

The effects were sloppy in places too, but it shows what can be done now on a shoestring. Post-300 digi landscapes and all that. Perhaps another potential avenue for 2000AD characters to find their way on to the big screen?

Just want to check something - number 3 cartridge is the tunneler, 4 is hi-ex - what about number 2? can anyone help?

Just wanted to say hi to you all - and ask if anyone can give me details about the art competition? I'm chasing my long unfulfilled dream of getting some comic art published. Recently approached Dogbreath fanzine and have a commission for a stront strip, which I am VERY excited about!
