Prog / Re: Prog 1710 - Slaine The Exorcist.
09 November, 2010, 06:20:06 PM
Slaine, bah, far from being the axe/trophy bearer the strip is becoming some sort of autostereogram where the reader is forced to squint and work out what the h*unching panels are trying to convey. It can't be good that you notice how well the eyes are painted/drawn as they're the only thing you can see clearly. I guess the eyes have it, but little else in this strop. However for fairness, the imagination, humour, possessed ladies face in particular, and imagery is outsanding, just impossible to read clearly and enjoy. This could be great art, with more focus and control.

Dear santa please could I have my Slaine drawn clearer..?

Help! / To subscribe or not subscribe
30 October, 2010, 11:24:08 AM
Dear Tharglets,

I'm trying to decide whether to subscribe or not but I was wondering if anyone can answer the following;

Do the comics come in protective packaging?
When do they arrive?
Is there a monthly subscription?

Cheers!

Prog / Re: Prog 1695 : The Hunger.
29 July, 2010, 06:30:08 PM
was it just me or did anyone else think that Dredd's grimace was massively overpronounced in the strip? In the top panel of page four he looked like a deep sea fish. Saying that though I though the art within art within the strip was very good and intriguing as was the villians face. Guess if I could draw i'd be entitled to comment, but for future reference could Dredd please not look like a deep sea fish.

General / Which is the best way to store 2000ads?`
08 July, 2010, 02:07:43 PM
Hi All,

I'm starting to amass a fair few 2000ADs and I was interested in what is your solution(s) for storing them so that they don't take up too much space and keep nice and straight? I notice they tend to curl if I am pile them up. Would be very interested to hear your solutions.

cheers
