There's been a wee bit of gloating going on up here in Scotland as the riots seem to be an English thing. I can't see it happening on the same scale here if it did break out.

I'm betting that the Kaiser Chiefs are feeling rather smug just now, after all they predicted it. Eastenders was on earlier and I was wondering when the rioting would hit Walford.

I went to a popular Chinese Buffet in Liverpool a few weeks ago, there was no Neapolitan ice cream, but there were tubs of Strawberry, Chocolate and Vanilla and I had a scoop of each together, is this acceptable?

There's one in Ipswich that has rum and raisin ice cream, and they have lots of Haribo-style sweets that you can put in it.

I have to say I'm rather fond of the Irn Bru ice cream made by a shop in Kilmarnock, he does Parma Violet and Killie Football team flavour too. Not quite sure that I fancy tasting the Killie Football Team though. ;-)

Can you lot settle an argument for me, please ? According to Barney this is a Cliff Robinson cover, but I'm 100% sure it's a Bolland.

My wee boy was given Horrid Henry : Missions Of Mischief on the Wii for his birthday, it has to be one of the most cheaply-made, shoddiest cash-ins ever. It plays and sounds like a Spectrum game, there's no voice acting just text and static pics which tell you what to do in the following level. The music sounds like it was composed 20+ years ago, the graphics are flat and there's no attempt to make use of the Wii remote, which is relegated to being turned sideways and used like a NES controller. The whole thing is a throwback to the days when programmers could knock together a game in their bedroom in no time. The publisher was the one responsible for the Wii and DS Doctor Who games which were universally panned. If your sprog asks you for this game, tell them noooooo way ! There are 2G mobile phone games better than this and cheaper too. 

Can we have Kevin O'Neill back please ?  Preferably teamed with Pat Mills.

Anyone else notice the return of the "Whankkk !" sound effect in the last panel of Dredd this week ? 

I hope it's better than The Muppets' Wizard Of Oz.
