I dont get it really.  If you put in your maximum bid (not just a normal bid but the max bid service on ebay), say 100 for instance, but the highest bid is only 50, and you win with that, then 50 is what you pay. So surely that is the same thing

Yeah this sniping thing.  I only recently got to bidding on ebay managed to avoid being dragged into the whole thing for years.  But looking at it what does the sniping software give you that ebay does not.  If you set your maximum bid then surely, even if someone snipes, then ebay will up your bid for you to the max that you want to pay, like buttonman says.  Or am I missing something about this sniping malarky?

I remember when FB was one of those little comic shops tucked behind the main street, somewhere round the back of tottenham court road I think, it was a shop with lovley old wooden floorboards.  Yeah I guess it has changed since it moved into a money making market as  apposed to an enthusiasts one.

Yeah I have re-ordered too.  Though it has peeved me off a bit because I am paying international postage and that has now stung me twice.

I like the pre-order idea a lot, be nice to see this for everything released as it is now for the hunting party and book of invasions vol 2, great idea.

Books & Comics / Complete Case Files

Hello.  I have been purchasing the Judge Dredd complete case file novels reliving my early days with the character and enjoying every minute of it.

My one question is how long do you think it will run, will they take it up to modern day, into colour and all, or is it going to stop at some point that is decided to be the definitive history?!!?!?

If so what would that be?

cheers
Martin

So how long do you think it will run for?  Will they take it all the way up to modern day, if so I'll have to get a bigger book shelf, I mean how many volumes would that equate to?
