I would like to suggest that the long-established character will be none other than Chief Judge Hershey!
Fact One: With the exception of Chief Judge Goodman, who lasted for decades before his untimely death, the life expectancy of a Chief Judge is not great.
Fact Two: With the death of Hershey, there would be reveberations in the Dredd strip.

I think it might be Sin or Dex. As u all know,  Prog 1306 says theres gonna be a story in the near future where there in good old fashioned England. This story might be a long one and go on till the new year and then, when no one suspects it, BLAM!! one of thems dead. Lets hope The S.U does it with WARHEADZZ> BIG MAZZIVE POINTY WAAARRRHEADZZZZZZ.
