I liked that ending for Manners - he's trying to goad Dredd into killing him - & Dredd's havin' none of it.  The other judges aren't as cool/hard/wise* so just let rip...
Having just read a the Dredd story "The Falucci Tape" (Progs 461-463) in which Judge Sladek is having an affair with Mrs Falucci & her ex- is trying to blackmail them I got a little mixed up about what had *actually* happened last week (2124) & what had happened back in 2108.

Whole bundle of stuff here, so I'll stick it all under one thread.

First up, new Rogue (or should that be Nu-Rogue?):

Just got my sub copy of prog 1306, and - awful cliffhanger line aside - I'm quite impressed with this new story. Simon Coleby just shot up in my estimation with some fantastic art on this strip (though some of the faces looked slightly off - esp. Rogue in the penultimate panel) Very cool, and I'll look forward to seeing more in the next prog.

VCs:

This has been the stand-out strip in the current line-up, and it goes out with a bang & a promise of more to come. Rather than wait 6 months for another 7-parter, how about a couple of 1- or 2-part stories to keep the thrillpower rolling? Perfect opportunity to draft in some new artists, letting Henry loose on the next full-length tale, and giving us the prospect of seeing other Tooth artists take on the Geeks!

Question for Andy Diggle:

How is the Dredd Vs Aliens story going to be published outside 2000AD? Will it be a Dark Horse mini-series running alongside the serialisation in Tooth, or is it going to be collected and published at a later date?
Also - any chance of a few "work-in-progress" pages from the series on the revamped Dig-L site?
