Just going to echo the sentiments of others here DD.  Thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time.  Never had the misfortune of being in your position so could not even begin to imagine what it is like right now.  Closest is my old man being diagnosed with Crescendo Angina which is not even in the same league.

Sadly though I've just found out that she's not going to make it.  Her illness (obviously something beyond epilepsy) has gotten out of control and it seems they can't save her - it's only a matter of time before she slips away; whatever form that takes.  I'm going to the hospital now to see my brother.

Thank you all, I appreciate it, I really do. The hardest thing for me is watching what it's doing to her parents and mine.  Hopefully the end, whenever it comes, will be as peaceful as it can possibly be.

JCB I'm so sorry to hear this mate. This world just aint fair. Gutted. I really hope her passing is peaceful. Thinking of you and all your family. Mind yourself too.

JBC I can only echo what everyone here has said.  I've just lost my Dad and it's rough but he was 79.  For something like this to happen to a young child is so terribly unfair.  We're all thinking of you and your family.

I'd also like to thank everyone here for your very kind words of encouragement and support.  I come here every day and although we don't really know each other you are all like friends and it means a lot.  I might be Dash Decent but you are all way above me.  It means a lot.   Thank you.
