Hi All, just wanted to say hello again!

I've walked an on-and-off road with 2000AD, first picking an issue up off my sister in 1989 (a monthly best off about a future society who were immortal and dying/being attacked by someone due to boredom - anyone remember it I need to find it!) before having to drop buying it in 2001 when I was at Uni.

After turning to the dark side I got increasingly hacked off with the repetition and sheer greed of the multiple lines and crossovers of main-stream america comic franchises.

I came back last week and all I can say is that 2000AD is looking brilliant. Better than ever! I forgot how great is was to have off the wall humour, and English sensibilities on the page!

here's another vote for 'The Dead'. It was by Pete Milligan and Massimo Bellardinelli. It was re printed very recently as an Extreme Edition. I forget which number.

Not THAT recently if it was an EE....(!)

Welcome back aboard the good ship Thrill Power, hope you'll be sticking around for a while.

Not that recently I suppose. I meant more recently than in 'Best Of'.

Welcome back on broad. 2000ad is indeed a blast at the moment and since I've been back in the Prog (almost 4 years now) I've was quickly reminded that while I love American comcis there's nothing quite as good as 2000ad.

As for The Dead as ever Barney has the details

The Dead! That's it. Thanks a lot, I got a shiver when you said that name. I'm going to see if I can get it from somewhere.

Welcome.
Have to dig that story out sometime. Classic Belardinelli/Milligan.

Peace is a lie, there's only passion.
Through passion, I gain strength.
Through strength I gain power.
Through power, I gain victory.
Through victory, my chains are broken.

It's all right, that's in every contract.
That's what they call a sanity clause.
You can't fool me, there ain't no sanity clause.
