Got a phonecall this morning at work from the receptionist at my Doctor's surgery saying my latest blood results had come in and could I book an appointment to see someone about them, no rush.

I then got a call moments later from a junior Doctor telling me about abnormalities in my sample and could I make an appointment with my specialist ASAP.

So after 2 hours of frantically trying to contact my specialist and then the surgery to see if they could get through to him, my specialist (who I've been seeing for the last 10 years and is a Sir) calls me.

"Don't worry about the results" he says "You're blood is always abnormal. Just a junior Doctor over-reacting. See you next year for your annual check up"

Phew.

The wave of relief that went through me was palpable to my office.

I'd rather have cautious over-reacting Docs then blaise ones, but FUCKNAR! for giving me the scariest morning of 2011.

There is going to be a Tim & Eric movie. Dunno if 90 plus minutes of them will be bearable, but it'll be a conversation piece at least. It's got RObert Loggia in it.

Also that stupid beard guy from New Mexico who writes those faggy dragon books some of you seem to like but who takes years to write them says he's almost finished writning the new one or whatever.

...this weekend is Nano-Bolts 10th birthday (She's having a keyboard (plus stand and headphones), Just Dance 2 (which if you know my girl this is a hell of a step), Pokemon White (I'm getting Black) and a trip to Twycross Zoo on Sunday.

...I've just had an email from a droid who I'll not name who is not only providing me with an image of utter Zarjaz-ness, he is going to write a story for us too.

...because I've had confirmation that the last two pages of FQ17 are going to be with me after the weekend.

...because a member of this very board has gotten back in touch with me to tell me all is well and the pages I'm waiting for are underway.

...And typing all that has made me realise just how FUNTING good today is, despite all the STOMM I'm dealing with at work and with my ongoing dental nightmare.

My band's music video has hit a thousand views on youtube! I don't even know if that's a lot in the grand scheme of youtube videos but it certainly seems an awful lot to me, and given she's ashamed just by the name of the song it's safe to say in this instance those views weren't by my mum.

I've been offered a job with a minimum of 33 hours per week with work shifts that fit in around my prop making, the extra money will come in very handy!

My work crafting my Hero Helmet from 1995 Dredd movie is almost at an end, can't wait till it's finished!

I found my Dredd/Batman graphic novel that I thought was lost and thourghly enjoyed reading again!

And I received an email from a radio show host in Florida who wants to invite me as a guest for their show to talk about the props I build etc...
