Boy that Superman story sounds even worse than I'd heard, which is saying something. I used to love Superman comics but DC haven't done anything with him that has excited me for a long time now, I'm thinking of giving Paul Cornell's Action a look but he isn't even in that one apparently :)
And thanks for some great choices on this thread folks, got myself some ideas for the old Christmas pennies now, I'm looking at you Mezolith. Can't believe I didn't even realise the second Parker book was out, I'm so having that, loved the first one.

Managed to read a few new trades this year and most of them were good. Read The Boys, Invincible, Walking Dead and Preacher for the first time and enjoyed all of them. The only stinker I read was Rising Stars. Interesting premise which was ruined by it turning into a superheroes save the real world situation. Any comic that tries to come up with a solution the Middle East is just destined to be trite nonsense and so it proved with Rising Stars.
