Locust- another title you might be interested in is the short lived Captain Britain monthly- It was just after the Alan Moore run of Cap finished and it also features mainly UK based Strips, including strips from Dr Who universe too. I think there were only 14 issues of this.

Those issues and the run of 'Daredevils' before hand were truely brillant comics. Don't own copies alas and they can be a pain to track down but one day, one day...

Not read Detective in years (well since Grant and Breyfogle). If the writer is any good (?) this might make me give it a try.

I know there's world piece and fortunes to be had but really I get three wishes one of um gones on me having a follow set of these comics that will exist in reality. How cool are these. Batman and Kiss... GLORIOUS!

This was actually my first exposure to Jonah Hex, and I thought I must be missing something because it was incoherent bordering on the ghastly.   

If this is as bad as people are saying DON'T let it stand as your judgement of Jonah Hex as a character. This current series is an absolute joy, its the only book my wife reads regularly and is completely accessible, most stories, though not all, being done in one's. Pick it up and get a better perspective on Jonah... see what I did there...

Wow as ever my hats of to you Emperor. That sounds really really good. My only concern is what the price point will be. This looks like a really fun strip but at a limited edition of 300 will it be Trigon Empire price. I'll wait with baited breathe.

The 'Ro-Jaw's Robo-Tales' speak for themselves they aren't 'Future Shocks'. 'A Holiday in Hell' I can find no reference to on Barney. It is listened at appearing in 1980 Sci-Fi Special on 'Touched by the Hand of Tharg' but don't have the issue to hand to confirm? Normally I'd trust Barney on these things?

Damnit, not seen the issue yet but heard similar things from other sources to make me think there's little hope for this issue AND Batman meets Jonah Hex in it written by Grant Morrison... I mean this is set up to be the perfect comic for me and it might be blown... dagnabbit.

And Rob Williams is right on the money:

2000AD is still producing fine material. I think it's important to acknowledge that and not just labour on about the past classics.

Yeah while its hard to disagree with any of the fine choices people made I do wish more people had acknowledged the wonderful material being produced still. All hail Rob Williams I say.
