Its been being pushed back and back for a while now - which is why I was so surprised to see the Major Eazy collection suddenly shoot up the pecking order and appear in this month Previews (see Grant's thread).

Amazon does have an annoying habit of listing things as 'Temporarily Out of Stock' or the like whenh they actually mean - its not out yet.

So I don't think its been published yet I'm afraid.

Edited to add current date on Titan's website is 10th November - though I'd treat this with a pinch of salt.

Well now that's nigh on impossible to choose. There is of course always the final page of 'Judgement Day' which just gets two brillant characters so perfectly and that first 'poster' of Mega City One from Prog one that still defines the city. The cover of Prog 339 is just brillant and I'm sure if I flicked through any of this stories particularly 'Portrait of a Mutant' and 'Rage' I'd get a gazillion other pages and panels I adore BUT I'm going to go with a none 2000ad page.

The last page of the recent Tankies sequel 'His Majesty and the Firefly' is just brillant and depicts a moment that wouldn't work in any other medium with anything like the impact. Its a perfect example of why comics are such a powerful art form.

[Been lettering Merkin comics for a few weeks -- it must have rubbed off.

I don't even want to think what 'Merkin' comics involve!

Whow 'Major Eazy' very cool. If a bit of a surprise. 'Johnny Red', 'Rat Pack' and 'Darkie's Mob' have beened listed for ages and getting pushed back and back - then this one sneeks out of left field. Not complaining mind looking forward to this one a lot.

Quite a hike, but still cheaper than some Yank comic that only has one story in it.

And 6 extra pages of story too

Over at Bleeding Cool under an article about the new logo someone posted in the comments section that 2000ad might be getting another price rise. I wasn't convinced given that the price has just gone up in the new year so I asked where he'd heard about the price rise. He replied with the following

QuoteI get my comics mail order and the shop I use has the following listed:

http://86thfloor.com/Advance%20Order...ogue/18_UK.htm

2000 AD #1705-1708
Irreverent, satirical, and full of pulse-pounding action, 2000 AD is the UK's cult SF anthology title, featuring some of the best writers and artists in the business. Russian revolutionary Nikolai Dante faces down an old enemy in "The Master of Kronstadt" by Robbie Morrison and John Burns; a new criminal organisation is ruling the streets of the Big Meg in "Low Life: Hostile Takeover" by Rob Williams and D'Israeli; the Tower of London is besieged by undead hordes in "Defoe: A Murder of Angels" by Pat Mills and Leigh Gallagher; and Rowan is running for her life in a werewolf-haunted city in "Age of the Wolf" by Alec Worley and Jon Davis-Hunt. Plus future lawman Judge Dredd leads a crackdown on perps in Mega-City One! (977026228416605/06/07/08)
SC £2.25 Ea.
And the same price is on their online order form. They have always sold 2000AD at cover price (minus customer discount) and can't see them adding any extra themselves now.

So while this is yet to be confirmed certainly according to this shop a rise is on the way. Still great value for money as far as I'm concerned but thought it worht mentioning here now its backed up a little.

I'll put this heer rather than start a thread that might course a fuss over nothing. In the comments for said article so bloke says

QuoteAnd another price rise is on the horizon too, to £2.25. Yet

Anybody heard any mumblings about this? Seems way to soon after the raise to £2 so I'm taking this with a massive pinch of salt but just wondering if people had heard otherwise?
