U.S. Subscription question

So, I'm giving Diamond about 2 more months to get their s**t together here in the US (stop laughing) and could use some feedback please.  Forgetting cost for a moment (although hard to do) and forget clickwheel or drive thru for the moment (because I just don't want to read progs that way) it looks like a direct sub from 2000 AD or newsstand.com.uk are my best bets. 

If anyone here in the States could give me feedback on their subscription experience with one or both I would appreciate it.  Or another alternative I may have missed. And I know this has come up before in the forum, but doesn't seem to be anything recently. Thanks.
