Duncan Jones talks a smattering about Dredd, 2000AD and the Trigan Empire:
http://vimeo.com/18492579
Duncan Jones is THE MAN, if they get to do a sequel to Dredd, they should let Jones do it, it would certainly be something else - and he wanted to have Judge Death and the League of Fatties in his version, 'nuff said really, he's hired! Interesting that he wants to do a 'futuristic Roman epic'-style piece, that's exactly what Danny Cannon pitched to Cinergi on how to do the Stallone Judge Dredd pic, good job Duncan isn't talking about combining the two, look at how the last attempt turned out, ahem...
Intriguing find!
I wonder who is playing Kay.
Oh, I like the Anderson this hints at!
How's Trigan pronounced? I always thought it was the way Jones says it.
sounds very dark just how dredd sould be cannot wait for the trailer! :)

Yup.
Nothing but tumbleweed and minutiae on here for a while now.Joe Soap has done a good job at digging things up -but you know the well is pretty much dry when you are gawping at camera cranes from the set.
Forget the trailer ,theres not even a poster yet.
As for a website to raise interest/engage fans or tempt lapsed fans dont even get me started....
Well the Amazing Spider-man only got its official website yesterday -poster last week- and that's out in 6 months. Dredd has 9 months to go and you can't say we haven't seen official pictures yet just like the Spidey film drip fed them.

I think that's actually seven months - as in July 3rd... and our friendly neighborhood web-crawler came out with a trailer about 6 months ago...
Not griping - just anxious :(

6 and a half if you're nit-picking plus Dredd is more of an unknown quantity and there really is no reason for Dredd marketing starting now rather than Spring.
