Script Submissions

I'm not sure if this has been asked before, but what's the normal response time for script submissions?
I sent mine in mid-June and haven't heard anything yet.
A grown man will cry if it's been lost in the post and wasn't received.

How long must Tharg keep me holding on?

I sent Tharg a script over a year ago and have had no reply. So, don't hold your breath. He's got better things to do.

Submitting to Tharg is a really frustrating process because response times vary (in my experience) from under a month to almost a year. As there is no way to know whether your script has arrived or not it's tempting to send another - DON'T. I did that once, after figuring that a six month gap must have meant a postal glitch, and got a right bollocking for it.

Heed the wise words of The Legendary Shark, Block. Patience is the key. Use the time to produce more scripts and build up a body of work. Remember that Twoothy is not the jealous type, they won't mind if you keep an eye out for other avenues. Try the small press like Zarjaz.
