I am still enjoying John Wayne Shot Me after discovering them a few years ago

Similarly with Oh Astro

And most things made or remixed by Breakbot

It's a joke. I was joking.

I love 80s Queen in general for the record, they never jumped the shark with me. Dancer is pretty much a perfect song in my book. And of course, Highlander. There can be only one folks!

Bit of South American spacer rock has been my pick of the pops recently: Follakzoid - 9.

To tell the truth, you can all get screwed.

With regard to comments on Queen's 'Jazz' album, I have to say it's worth its weight in gold for three little words:

Bicycle!
Bicycle!
BICYCLE!

8-Ball

Found this on an old C90 mixtape...

Divinity itself. :D
Whatever happened to Rico, Dolman and Cadet Paris? I'm sooo out of the loop.

Thanks to Spotify, I'm listening to the entire THAT PETROL EMOTION back catalogue which I used to own on cassette tape and hence, has long since shot the craw.
Be excellent to each other. And party on!

One of most enjoyable concerts ever for me was That Petrol Emotion at the Bierkeller in Bristol (1986!). Was really into Manic Pop Thrill so was perfect timing. Still got the T-shirt.

I often revisit them on Spotify. Takes me back to being a student and triggers memories of a bygone era of hopes, aspirations etc.

Underrated band.

Oddly SuperSurfer I wanted to see Royal Blood & Turbowolf at the Bristol Bierkeller next month but IT SOLD OUT.

Dagnabbit.

SuperSurfer

I did notice recently that all Royal Blood concerts this year in the UK are sold out.

I keep trying to tell folk La Roux's recent stuff is really great, but it looks like that ship has sailed. Shame, because it's got hooks like a Japanese whaler -

Uptight Downtown sounds like eighties suit-wearing Bowie, at the exact moment before he turned shit:

... Let Me Down Gently is epic and soulful in a way synthpop really shouldn't be:

... and Kiss And Not Tell could give Ebola a run for its money:

BBC Radio 4 Extra currently has Doctor Who: Ressurection of Mars. Very good stuff.
Sadly it seems it doesn't retain their content as long as they used to, as both Book of Kells and Deimos are no loner available.

Listening to Opeth's "Black Rose Immortal" before I hit the sack, purely because I've just been informed that they played this beautiful 20 minute song tonight at their Bristol gig.

Arse.
Peas sell. But who's Brian?
