It's ruining my life

Why?

Surely it's massively enriching your life!!

I'm currently building a giant 200-song playlist that spans every year in music since 1950 AND THAT is ruining my life I tell ya. But blimey is it good listenin'

Ah! I can see why that might have come off wrong. Generally when I like something ALOT, then I tend to exhagerate. What I mean by Mastodon ruining my life.....is that they are amongst the most revolutionary metal bands i've come across in the last few years.

And it's all your fault!

Probably doesn't quite fit into this thread, but there isn't one for "What wordless DIY social history projects are you into just now?" so it'll have to do: Lament for the Glasgow High Rise.
We never really die.

Lady Warp Spasm

Dark Angel Darkness Descends - still a great album almost 30 years on.

Definitely Not Mister Pops

Reverend Deadeye

If they had hymns like this at my parents' church I might've been more taken with religion.
You may quote me on that.

Every time I get an hour to myself, I tend to put on one of Tangerine Dream's early, good, albums. I hated them when I was younger too, but now there's something about them that appeals to my older brain. "Zeit", especially, is tops, and is available for nowt on Youtube should you be intrigued.

Unknown Pleasures - Joy Division

After last friday's doc on BBC 4 I thought I would splash out on a CD of the album from Heads it was only £6.

The album was not as depressing as I thought it may be.

I love the first two tracks and the rest is growing on me though I do prefer the later New Order period esp Ceremony.

8-Ball

The Moondogs - Who's Gonna Tell Mary

Stiff Little Fingers - Nobody's Hero

Rudi - Big Time

Woodie Guthrie: I'm on strike on Friday, manfully standing on a picket line, probably getting Pished on and freezing my nads off as per NI weather :'(....ah sure what the f**k! stick it to the man eh. Z
