Unfortunately I've had this stuck in my head for days. It's just so fancy!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O-zpOMYRi0w

While we're rolling around in our own faecal matter like dogs, it's Eurovision on Saturday! The UK entry sounds like the kind of thing page 3 girls used to release when they decided to become pop stars, so at least the BBC won't have to worry about eating into the licence fee to stage next year's contest.

Thanks in part to Steev Thulin-Hooper, I've reacquainted myself with the rather wonder Jethro Tull album, Heavy Horses.
In particular this track, which seems prophetically relevant in these hard times!

Sometime muse of Neil Gaiman, Tori Amos serves up another slice of lyrically evocative introspection.

I, Cosh

Heard a new Fennesz track on Radio 6 on Friday evening. Immediately bought the album.

How can reverb and distortion still sound so amazing?
We never really die.

Listening to Kraftwerk always makes me want to dig out my ZX Spectrum!
Which is no bad thing in itself!   :)

Been getting a lot of mileage out of my copy of 'Night Time' by Killing Joke lately.

It's an unusual thing for me to own - Killing Jokeare a band I genuinely don't rate much, but this is an absolutely CRACKING album. Looking past the '80s-tastic vocals, there's a lot of very energetic, cannily composed music on it.

CARCASS - Surgical Steel.

First new album in a good many years from the ultimate Death band (fuck you Cannibal Corpse and your shit lyrics).

It really is a Stonkingly good album, easily on parr with their mid-nineties effort Heartwork. The album opens with an instrumental song (1985), and then pounds away with quite melodic ferocity.

A particular favorite track of mine is "The Master Butchers Apron".

A very strong 8.5/10 for this album.

Listening to Tara Putra

Anyone else ever get a hankering for a spliff when listening to dub?

I get more of a hankering when listening to very fast Heavy Metal!

I don't like Dub to be honest, but each to their own*!

Cheers
