I'm hoping the order of these doesn't matter, as it was difficult enough cutting out loads of series I love and want to see back in the prog soon (please, Tharg).

Ordering does matter.  As I understand it (also not a car race fan) your choices will be assigned a score based on the ordering:

It's also been stated that:

you can vote as many times as you want  but only the last vote is the one that counts.

So you've still got time to agonise further over the final ordering, I know I am.

My top two was easy picks, the rest was much more difficult.  Honorable mentioned must go to 3 strips that if they we are in the second or third series I believe would challenge for a top 10 possie: Feral & Foe, Proteus Vex and Full Tilt Boogie

Great news that there will be a digital version available.

The idea is to get to the ultimate writer how we get there is part of the journey.

After the first weekend we a total of 53 different thrills got votes. Clearly it shows us what a diverse comic 2000 AD is.

For me the surprise was Full Tilt Boogie (as mentioned by Magnetica as well), I feel this needs a little more time to mature but I also can say from a personal point of view this looks like an excellent new thrill. We can also mention that Feral & Foe as garnered a vote. Another great Abnett creation in the making.

We have a two horse race in front and these two thrills have already opened up a substantial lead. The interesting thing is that it looks like we have groups of two jostling for position.

Another observation is that I can tell is if you are a start-up comic you will not make a mistake by getting Abnett to do a story for you.

Very tough challenge! I'm imposing some of my own rules - no series that started pre-Rebellion (so no Dante),

Ohhh I do like this rule... but don't think I'll be able to bing myself to use it... no Dante... no Sinister Dexter... no Red Seas...  nope just can't do it!

AlexF self imposed rules are to strict but Colin you can still vote for Red Sea even using AlexF rules since it was only published during the Rebellion Years.

For me the top two was easy but with the quality available it becomes quite difficult selecting the rest.

Since a few guys have already cast their votes it is open season. I will close the votes at least two weeks after the ULTIMATE NOT WAGNER TOURNEY to give Colin a break. Happy voting 

Well actually I'm pretty set on format and start postion of what I plan next so I say go for it whenever you are ready*. Depends how you decide to roll out the results really. Are you planning a big hit done in one, or more of a top ten countdown one postion revealed a day?

Or something else?

I reckon I can get the Ultimate Not Wagner Tourney wrapped up in a couple of weeks give or take a few days and then you'll have a clear run and I'll not start what I'm thinking next until after you have done?

*Well of course there's no harm in going as you choose anyway this is a fun thing and doesn't stop both being enjoyed at the same time if folks are up for it?

I will wait for your tourney to end, then I will release the results it in 3 burst first 5-10 then 3-5 and the winner and runner-up together.
