Paul Gleason, better known as the principal from 'The Breakfast Club' and Clarence Beeks from 'Trading Places' who ended up getting raped by a gorilla. Which isn't nice.

Sorry for you loss Rio - I hope your Dad would have appreciated the gallows humour sometimes employed in this thread.

Todays passers on include Gene Pitney, who alas will never make it to Tulsa. Unless he went and didn't send me a postcard..

It was Audis Krust! - I can just see the ad man's red braces pinging at your lack of product detail retention!

It didn't appear until the last page and I doubt many of their target market would have ploughed through 12 pages of densely plotted and dialogue heavy script before hitting that revelation.

Maybe the droids in question would allow the pages to be put up on the site? Or is the blatant pimping to be hidden like a secret shame?

I could scan them in but I doubt the tiny speech bubbles would be readable.

Cover looked like this. Very effective. Before I realized what I was doing I had bought several Audi Turbos.http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c118/button71/beneath.jpg">

Fiona Bruce did trot out your Muhammed comparison Art, and all said and done both are cases of reaction over thought rather than action. Don't see Amnesty running an emergency appeal over this 'thought crime' though!

He is clearly a right wing nut job, but it does raise some freedom of speech issues. Better forget that alternative reality Future Shock where the second world war didn't happen!

?12 a month? What's that? One CD or DVD? A couple of packets of fags? The house of Tharg remains an absolute bargain and to my mind the consistacy is as high as it's ever been. Stop buying after 20 odd years to save a couple of quid? Nah.

Looks like it did decent business in the States. With a $50 million budget it should be in profit in no time, and no doubt that'll open up sequel prospects. E for Exploitation anyone?

That said The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen took $66 million and that was pish.

Missed the show myself but I've linked the transcript below.

I'd tend to dismiss him as a ridiculously coiffured nob end, but his comments about dialouge and accents are worrying. I remember thinking it looked a bit cheap - that alley set, the ten man army - so I'm building for a hopefully false disappointment.
