Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I've found a "round the houses" route the other day but still have a nerdish, feverish fear I'm missing out on my personal view of the forum interplay. Can you help me 500?

If all goes well I will be rolling out the new search system tomorrow, so I'd rather not spend any time on getting the old one back (time that could be spent speeding up the roll out of the new system)

I have removed the search bar from the forum for now, It will return once I have had the chance to make it work.

Can we have the forum search back please?

Right, the new 'new' system is up and running.

When you view a topic the new image will disappear until someone else posts.

Let me know of any bugs etc

1) 301 error when trying to navigate to the forum

I am currently working on a full search system that scrapes the site, forum, wiki and shop but the forum part doesn't work properly as of yet and wasn't supposed to be pushed upstream with the latest update.

It has now been rolled back

Going to the forum search still brings up a blank page:

Thanks but I've accidently neglected to mention one or two things:
1) When I click the SHOP link, that too opens up in a new window. Should it (if not, then please fix it)???
2) My PM Box may be broken. It comes up as one long thread (even the new ones) instead of independent threads for different subjects. Is it meant to do that or not???

Its the way the forum software's core system works, it doesn't log every time you view a post it only logs it the first time (with no date/timestamp). So there is no way of being able to tell if you viewed the topic before or after the latest post, or how many times you have viewed it etc.

I am going to rip-apart and rewrite the core methods responsible for this behavior but it's going to take some time (the original code is a bloody nightmare!) so I though I would add the 'new' system as a temp fix rather than delaying the update.
