I hope its successful for him to , he's a massive fan of charleys war and hopefully his passion for it will rub off on others around him and (hopefully) his students.

any sort of sharing word of mouth you lot could do would be excellent.. he will have some more promotional material available soon which i'll post on here and couple of other places

if it encourages anyone to attend , its my understanding that the event and the talk is free

My Brother is  curating an exhibition on Charley's War running from the beginning to the middle of November. If you are in the South West and interested in 70s/80s British comics, please come along.

The Legendary Pat Mills will be presenting a talk on the 4th of November

You should get a letter in the mail at some point too, simply confirming your subscription and giving you your subscriber no. and contact details.

cheers,i seem to have post disappearing :( lets hope the actual books don't go the same way as the confirmation letter..
I ended up emailing them and they got back to me really quickly

i haven't been in FP in Belfast in years.. is it still ran by the guy who used to run Talisman? he was always pretty good and he knew his stuff.

its no dark horizons, or that comic stall up in the antique dealers on  Donegall pass :)

Also what I've wondered about the whole DNA/Gun match thing; How does it detect through his gloves?

Judges paint their hands too just look like gloves

torrents have stopped me buying some crap i would have otherwise bought.. I'll download , if i like it i'll buy it , if i don't, i won't

I would say i have i bigger CD collection and DVD collection than the average person(about 400 and 500 respectively), and that is in no small part to torrents.

I downloaded Game of Thrones, because i couldn't get it anywhere else, and i bought it the day it came out on blu-ray.

Torrents aren't necessarily all evil, its a great archive for things that are simply no longer physically available.

is this being made available through the futureshop, even better can we subscribe to it?

i can't show my face in FP because they have 14 years worth of transformers comics waiting for me
