I suppose though the CCF's aren't complete already as winter/sci-fi special and Annual stories haven't appeared.

Quote from: "Dark Jimbo"After all the debate and speculation that went on about whether we'd ever get these colour volumes, it's lovely to finally have it here.
so the next question should be answered by CCF14 then .. wot about the megazine.

Film & TV / Re: Red Dwarf is back!!!

thank god! If they had turned the first Dwarf in 10 years into a lame crossover I'd be hunting down Doug Naylor with a sharpened custard cream.

Ok, so I'm catching up with about 8 years of missed comics so apologies as this has doubtlessly been covered. I was reading Meg 272 (not sure I've seen Boo Cooks' work before .. its great) and noticed in 2 separate strips the lawmaster had drastically changed from the big box on wheels to a more sleek thing that looks more akin to something out of Akira. Was their a redesign at some point or were the art droids just dicking about with new designs.

Hiya, I've made a list of the back ish's that are cluttering up my house. I'm sure everyone has them all already but it can't hurt to try, if it helps to fill gaps, great. Prices should be reasonable. More info can be found at...

I'd be wary of buying from anyone with such a bollocks awful website anyway :)

Quote from: "His Lordship rac"Haven't read (or seen) this for years- I remember it scaring the absolute shit out of me as a youngster though.
You and me both. Really quite a harrowing read as a nipper.

Off Topic / Re: New Walkers crisps flavour vote

Quote from: "radiator"Radiator's top 5 Crisps (most of which are sadly defunct):

1. T-Bone Steak Flavour Roysters
2. Scampi Fries
3. Roast Beef Monster Munch (When they were fried, not baked)
4. Ham and Pickle Brannigans (though I preferred it when they came in those old style bags)
5. Barbecue Walkers (not the vile BBQ Rib which replaced them)
Thats a bloody top list. I salute you.

You couldn't go far wrong nipping into Waterstones or the like and picking up one of the Complete Judge Dredd case files books. Lots of reference info for not too much money. The film wasn't particularly MC1 in feel.

One word - grawesome. That really is an awesome pic. As far as copyright it's an interesting point, but I suspect due to the fact personal commissions are infrequent, and lets face it Cliff Robinson has contributed a lot to Toof over the years Rebellion wouldn't be too upset.
If it isn't a crass or inappropriate question, what sort of (rough ballpark) price would you expect to pay for a full pen and ink piece of art like this from an established artist?

great stuff

Announcements / Re: Judge Dredd Movie is Green Lit!

Is it just me who thinks they should keep true to the comics costume then? I think 'modernising the costume but keeping it in spirit of the original' might be said of the last films effort. The uniform is a vital piece of the iconography of Dredd.
