Just thought I'd post a heads-up on a friend's site. He collects comic artwork and, as he's a web-site developer, has put together a site where people can share their aquisitions with the world.

There's some nice pencil sketches there, plus inkwork sans speech-balloons.

I never could get the hang of third paragraphs, or a comfortable way of ending a post. :)

I had a look but had to click on loads of collectors' gallery links before I could find any 2000AD artwork at all - a couple of Slaine pages by Greg Staples.

It's a shame there's no indexing across galleries by artist, let alone comic.

I agree, and said as much to him when I had a poke around the site yesterday. He intends to add search functions, and will make it easier to sort work by artist. I think we're witnessing the site in its larval stage.

Also I realise I should've put this in the 'Links' category, not 'Website'. One idiot point to me!

Bump!

Bill, for it is he who runs the site, just got back from the Comic Con in San Diego. He spent the time hanging out and drinking with Sean Philips and Chris Weston as they were on the same booth.

Apparently, Jock was at the con.

A friend of Bill's bought 12 pages of Bolland/Leach art from The Day the Law Died (progs 94 and 95). He'll be selling them, probably through this site if anyone's interested.

There are news and photos of the event at the site which has become much slicker. Told ya it was larval! :)
