I don't normally bid on something I want so early but since this one has been flashed up on everyone's radar I thought I'd start off with a ?40 bid - which would be a reasonable offer for the page if it wasn't by McMahon and wasn't from such a high profile story line.

IMHO Bolland is the only 2000AD artist who's black and white single page interiors are worth more than ?350 (except for special cases such as interior artwork from prog 1 or McMahon's Judge Dredd artwork from prog 2 or Burger Wars)

As for painted artwork, barring the odd splash page, Simon Bisley's painted artwork from the Horned God is probably the only painted interior work worth that much.

Slaine by Glen Fabry and Nemesis by Kevin O'Neill are definitely worth a premium but I wouldn't put them as high as ?350 for a single page.

Good news for my collection then! Although it doesn't actually have Nemesis in it. Last page of the first episode (of Book1) though, the witch dunking scene. Twas a snip at a mere hundred squids. Would dearly love to find another page with Nemesis in it, very rarely seen though, don't think I've ever spotted another one.

That's how much I paid for this page. Again it doesn't have Nemesis in it. I've agreed to sell it back to the person I got it from if I even get a better one for myself.

Wow... I got the page where Joe Pineapples kills Savard as a birthday present from my brother, but this was ages ago before Bisley was famous, so I'm sure he would have got it for less than ?100.
