Nice work 👍
Knew this Paisley thing would pay off eventually!

With added Ian Kennedy and Tom Foster 🤗

All the best Foxy! A Forum star!
Since the Art Comp has gone a bit 'mainstream' I can't really get into it. Which is a shame. That's just me, of course.

Yeah the Tharg stories worked just fine at the time, this one and others tickled a young Squaxx brain - including mine. We didn't even get the in-jokes... good example of tales never intended to be analysed and released in multiple formats, ad nauseum .......  🤔

Books & Comics / Re: Whats everyone reading?

Working through the Fatale trades, just tremendous. Library books, always prefer physical to digital, you can't buy/store *everything* and it supports those libraries. You'll miss them when they're gone...
This interrupts my working through the Criminal books. Equally brilliant.

Film & TV / Re: Inside No. 9 (BBC2)

An average one this week but it stretched credulity to breaking point so not an absolute favourite. The gags remain a highlight,
eg. the bath water line
.

And, at some point I've managed to enable Audio Described... meaning I watched the show listening to a deadpan Scottish voiceover telling me what I was watching. First time ever. Felt like a mockumentary and wondered what clever point the Gentlemen were making (this time). Sigh (!)
Or maybe my telly is haunted.

Top telly, thoroughly enjoyed that. Crammed with detail too, these guys are either big football fans or spend each series researching these episodes 😋 ⚽️⚽️⚽️

My first prog *sniff*.
Loved The Tidy-Up Droid, and Dredd was pretty overwhelming/confusing... Last part of a mega epic, I just drooled over Ron's art and made happy sounds 😋

Grand form at the moment, even the worrying F & F turns out to be a fun romp 😀. Z of Z isn't really to my taste and the psychedelia... but in an anthology it's fine.

It's a top thread!
Nice dissemination of recent past, always pithy and on-the-money summaries. Pics are welcome too 👍

Eg. First Casualties... It did just limp on, infuriatingly. Never did make its point. Maybe that's reflective of War. Who cares!?!

Good tips Tips.

Interesting, and feels primarily targeted at the US ?
In these reprint-heavy times, doubtful I'd pick anything up, but keen to see how the (B&W) classics fare when coloured by John Higgins. Should turn the heads of those US readers 😜
