Books & Comics / Re: Shift Comic - new UK anthology

Worth noting To The Death is a finite series as well. I've no idea how far they are into it though. I have a handful of the US sized issues but haven't looked to see where the overlap is. At the beginning they were almost running a whole issue at a time but that has dropped down considerably. From what I gather about Adrian though, I bet he would commission the series to continue given the option!
I'm still without my HC yearbook, I know they rejigged it for that version. Would be nice to get it soon though.

Vol 2 Issue 2 is a fab read! I've not gotten into Elephant Men before so I'm very happy to see that here. The team know how to pick their content! The Spacewarp short was better than anything in the original #1, some good ideas, shifter was a fun all-action story and finally we are seeing Killatoa do his thing and stand out from the rest of Furman & Senior's strip. He's got exactly what made DH so appealing but through a different lens & takes cover duty next issue by the looks of it.

Yeah that's what I meant. Looks like the TV pilot was 2013, ten years after the first film. It was described as a 'put pilot' in the article I saw meaning Fox fits the bill if it never airs. Sounds pretty much in line with the Corman FF.

Trevallion is of the best artists working for Tharg right now. Can't get enough of his work!

Learnt from this article they've tried a bunch of times to reboot already. Is this a cynical effort to keep the rights from reverting to Moore & O'Neill?

So who’s the blue dog faced character and the lady with a quilted jacket?

Damn it's scalpers ahoy on eBay this year. Will bookmark APIS to see if they get any up, as I'm without one as well.

I felt two school based stories in one special to be pretty bad planning. That said, both looked good and had their own ISP. Just might have been better spread out. The Dredd saw an artist who was involved in two previous 'pilots' get moved into primetime. I like his work but felt 'cadet' Dredd jarred with other depictions of him. Of course, Dredd is renowned for being flexible in his appearance, but he looked older, already weathered. Chopper was good!

Film & TV / Re: Netflix?

My kids always default to Netflix unless there's a new movie on D+. Prime we have more for the delivery but I am watching Picard. I've downgraded to the two screen Netflix though, it all adds up.

Got my subs copies at the weekend. There's quite a bit of moiré patterning in the Finn book. I'm sure when I was at uni our scanners had the capability to somehow scan without picking this up - it was a setting. Or does that simply mess with the quality of the scan? Is this just the best that's possible?

Yeah you get 40 nominations of Places Of Interest (POI) at level 38 that The Community will review and possibly convert to a WAYSTOP. But whether that appears in PoGo or in other Niantic games depends on its location in relation to existing stops.

Niantic explanation: https://niantic.helpshift.com/hc/en/6-pokemon-go/faq/41-submitting-a-pokestop-nomination/

I use http://pogomap.info with Cell Levels 17 & 14 visible. This is a grid that breaks the map down into cells. Each cell can only have on Pokémon POI, so if there is a phone box with a map right next to it there’s no point in nominating one if the other is already in-game. Does that make sense? I know there are whole blog posts breaking it down further but i cans find a decent one right now.

Since turning lv38 I have had 18 approved! Also if there is a lonely pokestop and you can put another one nearby (not too near) you are likely to convert the first into a gym. Again, there are ‘rules’ for this. But I won’t try and type that right now!

The process of nomination, review and then either accepting or rejection can really get to you! But I think I would have gotten bored of it again by now if I didn’t have this to work on as well.

I had another Best Friend to achieve as well as a couple others at key stages, then it was evolve evolve evolve. Lv 40 is getting nearer! That was the top for a while wasn't it?
Today's nomination is a gazebo next to the local pub which will convert it into a gym if it gets accepted.

Thanks you two. Just got Mew from completing A Mythical Discovery. Should have saved the last research box for tomorrow. Oh well!
