Techy Question - .iav video files

I have something which captures video in a private M-JPEG format, .iav file extension.  The problem is I cannot find a player that will play this type of file, so I cannot send the video files to anyone else for them to view.

Anyone know of a player that will handle this file type?

Hmmm looked on the nornally reliable Download.com and 2cows and there is nothing... must be well dodgy pr0n you got there ;-)

More details...it's the format that a video capture card for a pda (pocket PC)uses.  It will convert the video to GIF video format, but the file size becomes massive and the detail and control is then not very good.

I was hoping one of you Web-Fu black belts might be able to help.
