yeah..its a laugh innit..youll get some stiff say i'm 1/16th irish..well duh..like that negates the 15/16th english..

No it dosen't. I'm just saying that 1/16th of my ancestors were from Island. Seeing I have blood from most of europe (all of eastern) I'm not english, despite the fact that my surname is Koneczny. I am however british.

yeah, but neither of them are all english so make of that what you will.

the thing is, that with every generation you back it adds one of two countries to the mix. And both the 'english' ones are on my mothers side.
