I'm not sure. I only asked in Electronic Boutique last week and they couldn't find the game on any platform and told me that it was not in distrubution for long.

As you say, you didn't sound to impressed with the game yourself.

Must of had to many bugs.

I done't thin I have found any other referverances to Cthulu mythos  other than in Slaine ( Fomorians are bit like Deep Ones, Cythrons, The Dark Gods and the Worm go itself.) , Nemesis the Warlock, ( The dark Gods are also mention here.), Finn ( And Here.)

I had once broughht a cheap novel called  'Cold Print' which has few well known Lovecraftian stories in included.

I have been intending to buy the Dungeon and Dragons rules for the cthulu mythos. Just to find out more about it all.

Who was the author who had made up a god creautre that was supposed to be opposite in alignment to the Cthuluu itself?

A good or sane god creature.

Dog Deever. I stumbled across that game website about a week and a half ago.  I was looking for the demo for the PC version and found out that was never any demo released. The game apparently was recalled shortly after it's distribution. about two years ago now is it?
Anywhow I would have been interested in seeing how the city of the Deep Ones turned out.

Has any noticed any similarity betwen the face of H.P. LoveCraft and Carlos Ezquerra's version of Judge Dredd.

Whiel, it's not much of kid television show ( I do recall being sent to bed every time this show came on late at night.) and it was more of seventies showwhich died out before the eighties.

I was thinking of the Australain character from the 'The Adventure Game show' that was mentioned earlier and thought he reminded me of a half- baked version of Paul Hogan. Who alot of you, may him know from the 'Crocodile Dundee' films made in America and and Australia. Which is how I think Paul Hogan broke out into the international market and he doesn't even live in Australia anymore.

At first I had no idea what shows or show yous were talking about until I looked up 'Children of the Stones'

Anyway, I actually do recall seeing this very episode whilst very young. Strange, I do remember this part where the young boy eating a chocalate bar as he's being driven throught the country side amongst all the stone monoliths.

Does'nt he end up having seisure and passing out or just callapsing when making contact with one of the stones as the story had progresssed.

Don't touch the stones.

Sadly that all I remember but it's a coinincidence that I find it here on you-tube. I'm not sure if there are more of them to watch. It's seems more interesting to watch now as I found it alittle creepy back then.

That's the one Wils.

I've never had the opportunity to watch this show myself and must have seen preveiw for it on some Variety Life Style program I was watching when I was much younger.

Though, it looks very interesting and I was going to mention that I recall reading about a computer game based on the sam show.

You may be right Cthulouis. Though the spelling is not a exact match.

I was toying with the idea that Ukko was really a sky and weather deity who was forced to do pennance by having his memory wiped and then  trapped in the body of a dwarf and forced to become the companion of Slaine.

His name the only legacy to his mysterious past.

Until a certain period of time had passsed where he would be allowed to return to his former glory.

Of course, Pats Mills, along with the rest of you may disagree there.

It's just made up really and perhaps would cause not fit in with some parts of the Slaine story.

Skywalker..... as far as I know is also the name of a American Indian Faction or tribe.

So. I think it's pretty cool. Even before then,
I thoughit was cool sounding word and name.

S K Y W A L K E R

WOW!

Now,

Ukko.

From Slaine.

I always thought it sounded weird. I thought it was a nonsence 'made-up' word until I found out it was also the name of a Finnish God of Sky, Weather and Crops.

I wondered if that meaning is suppoosed to be signifianct in the Slaine mythology.

I guess I have to cut abit of slack when words foreign to my normal tongue are concerned.

Now, THYRLLSEEKYR. My chosen pseudynom on thsi messageboard is now rteally feel like the type of name that only felt like a good idea at the particular time I was registering onto this forum.

I have asked people on a earlier occasion if I should change it.

A few said that I should stick with it.

So, I have.

Though I have to admit that it's not a name I would feel comfortable using in public. Outside these messageboards.

My only reason for not changing it is that I would only think of a worse sounding name right now.
