I want to use my newfound "profiled" status, and start my first poll.

However, there's a DXB one up that's only been going for a couple of days.

How long should one wait before putting up a new poll?

I think about a weeks a good amount of time.

Either a week or until a poll has over 100 votes seems fair.
All old polls are still 'open' and can still be voted on.

Two hours is the shortest time a poll has stayed on-site I think. That was quite rude.

But you can start your poll whenever you like dudley.
