Looking through a 'Rookies Guide to Crazes'. A supplement for the Judge Dredd D20 game. Which I'm exitedd to own, Because among the rules for illegal Sky-surf racing, Skrawling, Pro-Eating for Fatties. There canbe found the rules for Shuggy.

I was wondering how many Judge Dredd fans on this message board have actualley tried this past-time.

The rules don't seem much different from Snooker or Pool. Except or the element having ten raised pockets of various heights on the eight by four foot table.

Something I beleive to be abit like a cross between Putt-Putt or Crazy Golf and Pocket Billiards.

I was wondering of the likl-hood that somebody has even designed/constructed a Shuggy Table for real use.

How hard can that be?

I wonder how many pool hall owners read Judge Dredd.

Something, I have tried Googling only to be directed to Mongoose Publishing. They who wrote these rules themselves.

Which also has me wondering if they elaborated much on game that was merely only mentioned a few times in the comic strip.http://www.info-on-pooltables.com/images/pooltableBG_02.jpg">

I like this man's thinking.

If a shuggy table is ever built, consider my three 20p pieces sitting on it for the next available game!

Certainly it's featured in Max Normal stories. One's in an annual. I'll have a look when I get a minute.

Would find that in one of my case files for Judge Dredd.

Bolland draws a circular shuggy table in Forever Crimes (Complete Case Files 03).

Must be Southern rules, or somethin'...

I, Cosh

I think the one where Max plays Jean-Luc Ordinaire for the title was reprinted in an EE recently.

I've played on an L-shaped pool table (which was stupid) so I'd welcome a genuine shuggy table too.
We never really die.

This may be it.

Guess what was on television today.

'The Colour of Money'

Paul Newman's character in this film ( Eddie.)would have made a great Max Normal. I was wondering where the pinstrip suit and the bowler hat were going to appaer.

'Something I beleive to be abit like a cross between Putt-Putt or Crazy Golf and Pocket Billiards.'

Doesn't 'pocket billiards' mean playing with yourself?

If you wanted to play pocket shuggy you'd have to wear dungarees because they have raised pockets.
