That Kenny Who? Story was three episodes. It was the second in a trilogy, and the first and third parts were Judge Dredd stories so it was mental to leave it out. I'm quite sure that Wagner would have written it and America as Judge Dredd stories and the editor pretended they were their own spin-off series to create the illusion of variety, even though Dredd is in every episode of each story.

I loved Tales of Telguuth. My favourite episode was the first, but I like the whole series. Definitely going to get this.

Not sure what the point is of Judge Dredd: Luna-1 though, given that it is all in the Complete Case Files 1, with other stories too. Maybe it's in colour?

On your review it says August 2013.
Better change that or casual readers who don't buy the prog will think that it is an old webpage and not bother.

You can't call that era "directionless!" Over a period of four years Wagner steadily builds up the whole Frendz / Nero Narcos storyline, and separately the Galen DeMarco unrequited love story, and also Dredd's ongoing Feud with Judge Edgar, and then fuses all three story arcs together in a tour de force of brilliant story-telling, which results in Hershey becoming chief judge and major career changes for DeMarco, Edgar, Buell, Niles and Shenker -- practically the entire supporting cast of Judge Dredd. You need to read it all again and pay attention this time! It starts from Bad Frendz and continues until The Cal Legacy in progs 1178-79.

Use of Weapons is amazing.

The Christmas story is really a Tharg the Mighty story, which is billed as a Dredd story so that there can be a lame "twist" after the first page, where it turns out to be a story featuring every 2000AD character at a party. It's shit. But it is in the Restricted Files volume 1.

Who is Jan Shepheard? I assumed it was just a personal friend of John Wagner, I didn't realise he was someone we were supposed to know.

Love the return of the old Dredd logo. It should come back permananently.

I enjoyed this week's Brass Sun much more that the previous episodes of the current series. I had until now liked the fact that the weird world(s) they live on had no explanation for their existence, and I didn't need a backstory... but now that we DO know the backstory, I think it is a welcome development. I thas made me more interested in a series which I had felt was flagging a bit.

A sick (in both senses of the word) Judge Dredd story by John Wagner. Really keen to see what happens next month!

A new Dan Abnett series with a new character. This looks promising, but I hope she has her own individual identity and doesn't just turn out to be a copy of Anderson.

The Man From the Ministry: not sure about this yet.

A new movie-Dredd strip starts, not with Henry Flint this time but I like the art all the same.

And a poster by Brian Bolland!
