It's just long enough for them to get out of your way, making moving through the crowd a bit easier.

Sadly, however, I didn't meet anyone famous, so my chance of success in the pic-of-you-in-2K-shirt-with-a-celeb competition.

Anyway, I can confirm The Pixies fucking rock!
