NICE SHINEY but not so sticky here now?

i used to be a very very regular on this site. i loved it, and still do, but rather like a favourite hang out, when it upgraded for all intense and purposes for the better, it lost its charm.

is it just me or is this place slightly too corporate style and segmented these days?

i like it dont get me wrong, but i do feel we lost a certain something along the way.
i wonder if a first suggestion of a sheddcon, where posted today,would it be received with the same enthusiasm as before.

tell me i am in need of an oil change, if i am mis guided.

I think the site is well oiled and has attracted a lot more newcomers per week than the old one. This is in its defence, the place is a draw. I'm tending to be confused a lot of the time because its as busy with its arrival and departures as Camden Tube. ( I visited Camden town this weekend gone and am still buzzing off the contrasting experience )


So I sometimes am finding it hard to organize a response. As you know its not that easy for me in the first place.
