While we're at it, there's always mileage to be had in complaining about the wording of questions you got wrong.

Incorrect. The correct answer was Information in the census is kept secret for 100 years.

Well, the individual returns are kept secret for that time, but the information derived from that is available as soon as it's been produced. Otherwise, how could you have a previous question asking what percentage of the population identified themselves as Muslim?

Hmmm. Roomy! But those questions were kind of hard and arbitrary, and it's hard to see why the answer to a lot of them matter, or how anyone should be expected to know the answers.

Bum.  I'd leave the country on principal although given the ridiculous nature of the questions set in a citizenship test I'd claim this country needed me desperately.  I don't know too many people who could be confident about knowing those, did they just pick questions out of the air?
