I thought a lot of manga was dubious with the whole sailor moon school girl types but didn't realise it went as bad and nasty as it does ,the most shocking thing being the "loophole" they've used to allow people to still possess such vile images being that they are not "real"  and only drawn.
  Years ago when my daughter was very young and had an obsession about fairies I got a book from the sci fi book club on top of a stack of dredd gns which was a book on fairies or so I thought ...it turned out to be full of sexually provocative paintings/drawings etc of women with wings but in a full frontal tits out capacity ,the most disturbing though was one which depicted pre pubescent faires full frontal nude...
 
  I had a hell of a time returning the book and getting a refund from them and had to resort to threatening them with the police if they didn't withdraw it from sale ,I heard nothing more from them and not even so much as an apology ,they hadn't even put a "expilict content" disclaimer on the ad . it was one of those times we were glad of a lazy postman dumping a parcel on the floor in the middle of a rainstorm as we might not have checked to see the book was damaged and may have missed this ! 

  this Japanese story has me worried.

anyone know of anyone that still does this? since blockbuster went blockbusted I cant try before I buy and I wish I could. bound by flame I'm looking at you!

first episode in (not paying £79 for amazon prime) ok but no wow factor yet  but that's just probably 'cos I'm spoiled by g.o.t.  the lead is ok but a bit smug looking and some of the supporting cast is weak the ship builder is a bit annoying and whatsup with that soothsayer wizardy fella?

being incredibly new to this stuff I noticed 2000ad stuff only appears to be on I-pad ??? (forgive me if this has been discussed beofore but I cant be arsed trailing through ...will books etc be available on android? I wanted to get underbelly at some point.. I have comixology on my tablet/phone and am having a headache catching up with the rest of the 21st century.

starts next week!    I was kind of glad [spoiler]robb bit it last year and kat was a bit of a misery[/spoiler] so I won't miss them much ...Jaime has a new  haircut and hand.  with the walking dead finishing I don't have too much of a gap in my telly watching!

being the computer illiterate I am we didn't realise the key we needed to activate was on a sticker on the bottom of the laptop which has worn down so we cant read it and hence cant activate office 2013 which wasn't a problem before but I need it for a work thing. can you get a replacement anywhere? or is it listed elsewhere? I'm not buying office again when its already in there somewhere!

taking advantage of Xbox's massive sale and got arkham city no problem but assasins creed revelation isn't loading and all I get is a message to btry downloading it again which I have twice I cleared my cache but stil no joy.

we're on the red weather warning up north with 90mph gusts killing my fence panels (for the moment-I half expect my conservatory roof to be in Chorley by tomorrow) luckily we have managed to avoid the floods plaguing some poor folks at least if we all survive they wont be able to cry drought if we get a bit of sun!

I thought I'd play skyrim as I hadn't for ages when I loaded it it went to a disc not readable message so I cleaned it and re loaded it ,again the same message. I uninstalled it and it played as normal but the load screens were slloooow . never had a prob before whats going on ? it also did it with oblivion

anyone have spawn #197/198/199 they'd want to sell? also would be interested in any spawn comics from #115 onwards

 Anyone else read this? I was a fan waay back first getting into it via the Viking spawn figure I bought my nephew and started another mild obsession.

I picked up a copy of the comic (I think it was around the time the heap made an appearance) and got hooked and managed to get the titan trade paperbacks even though the buggers fell apart after a few reads. Loved McFarlane's work form the go and capullos blew them away !  I lost interest around the time of angel medinas run when there were vampires  all over the shop .
  now I'm reading the new run with jim downing and can't help but miss McFarlane,capullo and medina...the current guy's work feels a bit muddy and dull and the story is slooooow .

  I'm sticking with it to see were it goes with jim and if they'll find a way to bring al back as blond surfer dude doesn't do justice to the costume like a burnt corpse .

I know a lot of folk have no love for todd's empire but I don't care ,I love the guys art and the creation of spawn but do any of you here share that love?

Asides from the usual suspects (Dredd,Stronty etc) I have a huge fondness of Absalom and think that was the main highlight of the xmas prog...Strontium dog to me felt wrong ,I don't like this new callous johnny that seems to think killing any norm is ok... hope he sorts his head out and gets back to bounty hunting
